Israeli actor Alon Aboutboul, renowned for his role in major Hollywood films, has passed away at the age of 60 after a distressing incident on an Israeli beach, as the New York Post reports.

On Tuesday morning, Aboutboul collapsed on HaBonim Beach in Tel Aviv shortly after exiting the water, leading to unsuccessful resuscitation efforts.

After experiencing distress in the wake of his swim, Aboutboul collapsed, and paramedics arrived swiftly at the scene. Despite their attempts to revive him for an hour, their efforts were in vain.

Aboutboul's noteworthy career began with his debut in Two Fingers from Sidon in 1986, setting the stage for a storied acting journey.

His international fame was cemented with roles in Hollywood blockbusters such as Rambo III and the memorable portrayal of Dr. Leonid Pavel in The Dark Knight Rises.

Apart from these, he shone in Body of Lies (2008) and London Has Fallen (2016), adding to his rich portfolio of cinematic achievements.
