Olivia Munn made her first public appearance since disclosing her breast cancer diagnosis last week, accompanied by her partner John Mulaney over the weekend.

The 43-year-old actress shared her cancer journey, including a double mastectomy, in an Instagram post last week, reflecting on her battle over the past year.

Walking hand in hand with John Mulaney, 41, with whom she has a two-year-old son named Malcolm, Munn was spotted heading to a friend's house in West Hollywood, as Daily Mail reported.

Munn's battle with breast cancer came to light in February of 2023. She underwent genetic testing as a proactive measure against cancer.

She tested negative for 90 cancer genes, including the well-known BRCA gene. However, her relief was short-lived.

A mere two months later, she received her breast cancer diagnosis. Over the past ten months, Munn has endured four surgeries and countless days of recovery, all while learning extensively about cancer and its treatments.

The actress wrote, "I've only cried twice. I guess I haven't felt like there was time to cry. My focus narrowed and I tabled my emotions that I felt would interfere with my ability to stay clearheaded."

She added, "I've tended to let people see me when I have energy, when I can get dressed and get out of the house, when I can take my baby boy to the park."

Choosing to focus on her recovery, Munn has kept much of her journey private. She shared details only when she felt ready.

She credited her OBGYN for conducting a Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Score. This ultimately led to her diagnosis and swift treatment plan. This includes her double mastectomy.
