Nashville witnessed a severe car crash involving the daughter of country music star Darryl Worley.

Worley's 16-year-old daughter, Savannah, was seriously injured and is currently receiving treatment at Vanderbilt Medical Center, as the Daily Mail reports.

The accident occurred this past Sunday. Worley was alerted while on his way back from a performance in New Mexico. Distressed, he shared the news via social media, urgently requesting prayers for Savannah and the other driver involved.

Upon receiving the news, Worley conveyed the gravity of the situation.

"Kimberly called and said Savannah had been in a bad wreck and was being life-flighted to Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville!" he expressed.

Community Rallies Around Worley Family

Savannah sustained a broken leg, along with several bruises and lacerations. Photographs released by Worley showed the severe damage to both vehicles involved in the crash. The visual evidence displayed crumpled hoods, bumpers, and dislodged wheels.

On Tuesday, Worley updated his followers with a photo of Savannah in the hospital, smiling despite her injuries. He captioned the image, highlighting her resilience and the family's faith during these trying times.

"It may be raining today but my sunshine is awake with a little smile on her face!! It’s been a rough few days, but we know God is in control and shielded Savannah in all of this!! Not sure when she will get to go home but today looks a lot better than yesterday or the day before!" Worley shared.

Other Driver Seriously Injured

The other driver, a woman driving a red car, was also seriously affected by the accident. Identified as the mother of Allison Hammock, she is in serious but stable condition after undergoing multiple surgeries.

Hammock provided details about her mother's condition and the impact of the accident on their family. "She’s stable and alert. She has required some surgeries. She was airlifted as well," Hammock disclosed, adding that the incident has been a "nightmare" for her family.

Hammock also noted the connection between the families and the ongoing support they have provided to each other. "It was just an accident," she stated. "I have been in contact with Savannah’s family. We are related down the line. I’m in touch with her mother. The families are very appreciative of any prayers towards both sides. It will be a long road ahead."

Support from Country Music Community

Support for Worley and his family has come from various quarters, including fellow country music artists. John Rich and Charlie Daniels have publicly extended their support and called for prayers.
