Fair Election Fund Initiates Expansive Inquiry into Noncitizen Voting

 October 1, 2024

The Fair Election Fund has launched an extensive investigation designed to root out noncitizen voting in seven pivotal states.

The election integrity watchdog aims to ensure the accuracy of voter rolls by comparing jury summons responses against voter databases, as Breitbart reports.

Seven Swing States Under Scrutiny

On Monday, the Fair Election Fund announced a significant investment in the battle against noncitizen voting. The watchdog group revealed plans for a six-figure investigation targeting seven key swing states.

The states earmarked for this inquiry are Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. These states represent critical battlegrounds that could sway the outcome of national elections.

The investigation will cross-check responses from jury summons in the ten most populous counties of each state. The data will then be matched against voter rolls to identify any discrepancies and ensure voter eligibility.

Immediate Action in Case of Ineligible Voters

If any ineligible voters are identified during the investigation, the Fund plans to notify state authorities without delay. This measure is part of a broader effort to preserve the trust and integrity of the electoral process.

The Fair Election Fund was founded in May with the mission of exposing election fraud and abuse. Since its inception, the Fund has been actively involved in various initiatives to safeguard the American election system.

Earlier this year, the organization awarded $25,000 in bounties to Nevada citizens who reported instances of coercion related to voting by union leaders. This demonstrates the Fund's commitment to addressing and mitigating all forms of election interference.

Broader Investigations Extend Beyond Noncitizen Voting

In addition to examining noncitizen voting, the Fair Election Fund is also investigating fundraising activities conducted through ActBlue, a Democratic Party-affiliated donor platform. The Fund has flagged approximately 60,000 potential fraud cases connected to campaign donations for President Biden and Vice President Harris.

These suspected fraud cases have been reported to authorities in several states, including Alabama, Nebraska, Kansas, Virginia, Tennessee, and Texas. This highlights the wide-reaching scope of the Fund's efforts to ensure transparency and fairness in the election process.

Doug Collins, a senior advisor to the Fair Election Fund, emphasized the importance of maintaining accurate voter databases. According to Collins, "Election integrity efforts depend on the accuracy and reliability of our voter databases. We’ve seen states like Texas and Virginia remove noncitizens from voter rolls, and other states must follow suit."

Efforts to Strengthen Voter Roll Accuracy

Collins underscored the significance of the cross-checking process despite its labor-intensive nature. "While combing through voter rolls and conducting cross checks is a thankless task, it is essential work," he said.

He further noted that the Fund is prepared to take on this challenge to prevent illegal voting and guarantee that every vote cast belongs to a U.S. citizen and resident of the state.

The Fair Election Fund has reiterated its commitment to upholding election integrity through its various activities and investigations. The group insists that ensuring the accuracy of voter databases is a critical step in protecting the democratic process.

Core Values at the Heart of Investigations

An advertisement from the Fund's early days highlighted the central role of elections in the American system, stating, "It’s part of our core, but we can only have confidence in the results if there is trust in the process."

The narrator of the ad pointed out that real cases of abuse across the country have eroded public trust in the electoral system. The Fund's efforts aim to address these abuses and restore confidence among voters.

As the investigation proceeds, the Fair Election Fund remains dedicated to scrutinizing voter rolls and other election-related processes meticulously. The group believes that such rigorous checks are instrumental in maintaining the integrity and trustworthiness of American elections.

Investigation Timeline and Expected Outcomes

The current investigation is set to commence this week and is expected to be completed by mid-October. This timeline allows for thorough scrutiny and prompt action if any ineligible voters are discovered.

The Fair Election Fund's proactive approach signals a firm commitment to tackling election-related issues head-on. By focusing on noncitizen voting and other potential fraud cases, the Fund hopes to contribute to a more transparent and reliable electoral process.

The coming weeks will be critical as the Fund's investigation unfolds, offering a closer look at the effectiveness of measures put in place to safeguard election integrity in key states.
