Michelle Obama seen carrying $3,000 handbag in Madrid

 September 8, 2023

Former first lady Michelle Obama was seen in Madrid as allegations about her husband resurfaced in a recent interview.

Mrs. Obama, 59, was spotted in Madrid last Wednesday. She met with James Costos, the former Spanish ambassador who collaborated with her husband, Barack Obama, during his presidential tenure, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Public outing in Spain

The former first lady's outfit was a blend of somber and stylish: a dark-denim maxi dress paired with a vibrant cardigan.

Adding to her attire, she donned black strappy slides, an array of bracelets, bold silver earrings, and sported a white manicured set of nails.

Her hair was neatly tied back, with a scarf serving dual purpose as an accessory and to keep her locks in place. A notable accessory was her black Bottega Veneta handbag, priced at $2,900.

Allegations against husband

Controversial claims about Barack Obama resurfaced after Tucker Carlson, an ex-Fox News host, interviewed Larry Sinclair, a convicted fraudster.

In the interview, Sinclair reiterated his longstanding allegations about the former president.

He detailed allegations about his past encounters with Mr. Obama, claiming to have had a drug-fueled intimate relationship with him back in 1999, when the latter was a senator from the Chicago area.

Sinclair said:

My feeling is that Barack Obama is definitely bi[sexual]. There is a lot of transactional qualities to him. I think whatever he does is looking for a hook, looking for a benefit.

Further, Sinclair confessed he was unaware of Obama's political identity until 2004, five years after their alleged meeting. He only recognized him during a political convention when he entered the spotlight.

The history of the accuser

Larry Sinclair is no stranger to the law.

His criminal background spans multiple states including Arizona, Florida, and Colorado and involves convictions for forgery, fraud, and larceny.

He first publicized his allegations against Obama over a decade ago.

However, no evidence has been presented to validate these accusations.

The Obamas' recent activities

Despite the recurring allegations, the Obamas remain engrossed in their summer activities.

Recently, Mrs. Obama was spotted in Mallorca, Spain. She opted for a casual vacation outfit, comprised of high-waisted black shorts and a decorated tank top.

In another outing, the Obamas made an appearance at the U.S. Open tennis tournament in New York.

Mrs. Obama introduced tennis legend, Billie Jean King, who at 79, remains a prominent figure in the sport.

The couple also made headlines with their family vacation at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.

They were accompanied by their daughters, Sasha and Malia.

While Barack indulged in golf, Michelle showcased her tennis skills. Their travels further extended to California, where they witnessed their daughter Sasha's graduation from the University of Southern California.

The duo even shared memorable moments in Barcelona, Spain, visiting the Montserrat monastery and attending a Bruce Springsteen concert.

A heart-wrenching incident

However, July was marked by a personal tragedy for the Obamas.

Their longtime chef, Tafari Campbell, tragically drowned at their Martha's Vineyard estate, valued at $12 million. This was a painful moment for the family, as the chef had been an integral part of their lives for 14 years. The Obamas expressed:

Tafari was a beloved part of our family. When we first met him, he was a talented sous chef at the White House. In the years that followed, we got to know him as a warm, fun, extraordinarily kind person who made all of our lives a little brighter.
