R&B artist Jaheim Hoagland, more widely known by his stage name Jaheim, finds himself in legal trouble yet again, facing accusations of animal cruelty.

The singer was taken into custody earlier this month for allegedly neglecting six vulnerable dogs under his care, marking the second time he has faced such charges, as The Independent reports. 

Jaheim was arrested on May 1, charged with six counts related to the mistreatment of animals, and released the next day. Reports indicate that he failed to supply necessary provisions to the dogs, such as adequate nutrition, water, sanitary living conditions, and proper ventilation.

The dogs reportedly affected by this alleged neglect include four pit bull terriers, a French bulldog, and a mixed-breed hound. These dogs, according to allegations, were not given the basic elements needed to maintain their health and well-being.

Charged with a similar crime in 2021, Jaheim's previous case involved a significant number of dogs in dire conditions discovered on his property.

During this incident, six dogs were found in the driveway housed in crates. Tragically, one of the animals needed to be euthanized due to its health condition.
