Real Estate Magnate, Former Obama Fundraiser Don Peebles Projects Trump Win

 November 3, 2024

Real estate entrepreneur and former Democratic Party fundraiser Don Peebles has raised eyebrows with his bold prediction for the 2024 presidential election, foreseeing a victory for Donald Trump if the focus centers heavily on policy.

Appearing on Fox News’ Neil Cavuto Live, Peebles, who once raised funds for Barack Obama, critiqued Vice President Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party, emphasizing challenges that could impact voter support, as Fox News reports.

Peebles compared Harris unfavorably to Obama, highlighting the contrast in their political appeal.

According to Peebles, Obama brought a sense of inspiration and a promise of significant change, whereas Harris represents continuity without the same level of dynamism.

Peebles Highlights Democratic Voter Discontent

During his appearance, Peebles elaborated on Harris’ lack of charisma and her struggles to engage effectively with voters. “Harris represents more of the status quo,” Peebles noted, describing her as not particularly engaging or disciplined in her messaging.

Peebles highlighted the appeal of Obama, characterizing him as an intelligent and disciplined leader who was charismatic. However, he noted that Harris, despite being part of the Biden administration for nearly four years, has not brought the energy that Obama introduced early in his political career.

A significant part of Peebles’ argument included growing dissatisfaction among Democratic voters, particularly in traditionally liberal states. He pointed out the erosion of patience among voters, specifically mentioning a decline in support from African American men.

Economic Concerns in Democratic Party Strongholds

Peebles brought attention to economic disparities contributing to voter dissatisfaction, specifically citing economic inequality in cities such as Boston. He noted a stark difference in average net worth between White and African American households, pointing to broader systemic issues.

He also criticized the performance of Democratic Party-led cities in areas like public safety, economic growth, and quality of life, drawing comparisons to difficulties seen in the 1990s.

When discussing Harris' perceived advantage among female voters, Peebles voiced skepticism. He suggested that some women might be uncomfortable expressing their true voting intentions publicly.

Challenges in Voter Support for Kamala Harris

Peebles expressed doubt regarding the reported support for Harris among potential female voters. He speculated that social pressures might lead to an overrepresentation of support in polls.

Regarding male voters, Peebles suggested there might be underreporting of Trump supporters. Many, he asserted, might prefer to keep their preferences private to avoid criticisms.

Comparing the policies of Trump and Harris, Peebles offered strong opinions about their economic agendas.

He stated that Trump’s economic policies are significantly more appealing compared to Harris's, doubting the information available concerning her policy plans.

Predictions for 2024 Election

Peebles concluded with an assertive forecast for the 2024 election. He argued that if the election centers on substantive policy issues, Trump would achieve a straightforward victory.

He acknowledged that if the election turned to focus on personal likability or character, the race could become closer. However, his conclusion remained consistent with the idea that he sees Trump as the probable victor.

In Peebles’ view, these assessments highlight significant shifts within Democratic Party dynamics alongside broader electoral trends as the 2024 election approaches.

Through his analysis, Peebles presents a challenge to traditional assumptions about party strengths and voter alignments, particularly within key demographic groups. His insights invite further examination of electoral strategies among both major parties.
