Sam Rubin, beloved entertainment journalist, died at 64 following a heart attack at his home, as the New York Post reports.

On Friday, following his morning segment on KTLA’s Morning News, Rubin suffered a sudden heart attack. The incident took place shortly after he had appeared on live TV between 7 and 9 a.m., a routine that marked his day for many years.

Emergency services quickly responded, transporting him from his residence to UCLA West Hills Hospital by ambulance. Despite swift medical efforts, Rubin was pronounced dead at the hospital.
