The Trump administration has made a striking move by revoking the security clearances of several individuals at the president's instruction, according to an announcement by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

The revocations announced by Gabbard targeted individuals whom Trump has perceived as adversaries in a range of legal battles against him, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, as Newsweek reports. 

In an official statement shared on social media, Gabbard disclosed that notable figures such as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as well as James are among those stripped of their clearances.

Other affected individuals include former officials and a group of individuals behind a letter questioning the veracity of information from Hunter Biden's laptop, namely Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen, Andrew Weissman, and a list of 51 signatories.
