The judge handled a shotgun during the demonstration, pointing it over a wooden table toward the area where contestants were positioned. Unforeseeably, the firearm discharged and struck a contestant at close range.

The unexpected firing of the gun led to a loud noise and a cloud of white smoke. The video captured the moment, showing the judge and the subsequent chaos clearly.

Immediate Reaction and Aftermath

As the gun fired, a bystander exclaimed in shock. The 68-year-old man who was hit fell to the floor, toppling a wooden table while clutching his right buttock in evident pain.

Quickly, judges and other club members came to his aid, providing first aid and assessing his condition. Fortunately, the injuries sustained were not life-threatening, but the event certainly shook all present.

The Vice President of the Bydogoszcz Shooting Club LOK later referred to the event as "an unfortunate incident," a comment that underscored the unexpected nature of the accident.
